Guest
I am thinking of switching to Phonics Pathways, but I still want to include really good readers. Do you think the AAR readers would match up well with Phonics Pathways?
Jess4879
It's been a long time since we dabbled with Phonics Pathways. AAR has a very different scope and sequence, but if I remember correctly, it moves at a slower pace thank Pathways, so I think it would work ok. Maybe compare the AAR scope & sequence with Phonics Pathways?
carriede
We use PP, supplemented with readers. First I tried more vintage readers, but my DS didn't connect with them at all. I looked into AAR, but I felt the price was a bit too steep. We landed on used Treasures books bought on Amazon. And library books. If I had more money in the budget, I'd love to have the collection of AAR readers!
