TheAttachedMama
I have 90 minutes, 4 days per week to work with my 4th grader one-on-one. (The rest of his school time is done as a group with siblings or independently.) I've decided to devote most of one-on-one time to these subjects: My list of subjects include: All About Spelling 4 + Sentence Dictation (30 mins) Writing and Rhetoric Fable (30-40 mins depending on assignment) Junior Analytical Grammar-(20 mins) Oral Reading Practice-McGruffy Readers-15 mins Memory Work & Recitation using ANKI flashcards (poetry, science, history, bible, art appreciation, music, etc.)-15 mins Obviously, I can't do all of these things each day. So, what type of loop or schedule would you put these in? I've been staring at this list all morning trying to prioritize. And at this point, I am just curious what the "hive" would do. ;)
Syllieann
I would do reading practice and memory work daily = 30 min Then I would loop spelling, writing, and grammar, doing 2 of the 3 each day. = 60 min
