Anyone do MP Jr. K?

I was very impressed with MP K Enrichment after using it with DS this year so I bought Jr. K to use with DD this year. I like the planning and purposeful time with her reading a story and she is loving the attention and focus. She keeps asking to memorize poems like she's seen DS doing. It seems great except for the writing. She is almost 4 and still working on mastering proper tripod grip. We've been slowly working through the Kumon books and she's getting a lot better at doing things like mazes but we haven't gotten further than simple lines for her and haven't started anything as far as writing letters. The MP Jr. K. schedule includes letters and numbers to be traced and then written and she is not ready for that at all. I tried following their schedule and she is just not ready for that, which doesn't surprise me since we haven't gotten that far yet with her tracing skills. I know for homeschooling purposes it doesn't matter what grade she's in but I need feedback if I should wait on doing the whole program or just drop the writing part. I'm not sure if she'd be missing out on the completeness of it if we don't do it all together? Or if it's not actually that integrated?

I am on my second time through MP Jr. K.  My older was ready for the writing, my younger is not.  So I focus on memory work, read-aloud, and crafts this year.  I have some letter printables where we can look at the shape of the letter using a lacing card/coloring page/dot page/poke page, but he is not even ready to trace them yet.

I may pull the stroke sheets back out in January to see if anything has changed, but there is plenty of time for writing letters and numbers later.
