Eagle
This class' average age is 93. I'm sure this program kept a lot of these seniors going by giving them a goal and a purpose. The video is so sweet. I love seeing people excited about learning, and this shows that it is never too late to start! http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/elderly-education-classes-riverton-valley-view-villa-1.3635934
gaillardia
How cool is that!? Can you imagine what would happen in our senior centers, our assisted living facilities and "rest" homes if even a fraction of something like this was instituted? Oh, my gosh. Somebody get right on that, would ya? I guess there are some places that do this, but most that I'm aware of do not. Give these people something to do, but especially, a goal and a purpose. :hurray:
