Um_2_4
I posted on Gen Ed, but though someone here might have tried it. Looking for DS12 for next year. We tried book 1-2 of Key to Algebra, a bit too slow and tons of practice/review (probably be perfect for DD9 when she is ready). DS12 wants a workbook approach. Anyone who has tried it: Are the pages crisp and clean? Key to was a bit too "messy" for him and overcrowded. He prefers more along Singapore or MUS layout versus MM. Is it a full Algebra program as they claim? If you used it did you get the book or PDF???? (I can print cheap, just thinking I could divide it up and bind it into 1/3s so it wouldn't be so bulky if I print it.) Any other workbook based Pre-Alg or Alg? He will be going into 7th technically. I'm not looking for online or dvd based (trying to keep tech just for typing papers and research). Thanks :)
Ms Brooks
I bought this to use as a supplement Singapore Dimensions Math 7. We did not use it as much as I thought we would. I do not consider it a complete Algebra course, but for a younger kid (5th-6th-7th grade) it might be a good fit to introduce concepts and fill in gaps which is why I bought it.

Ok Thanks for the info. I had high hopes as I liked their mathematical reasoning for the early years.
