classicmommy Posted March 12, 2016 Share Posted March 12, 2016 I am thinking about having my daughter use MP Introduction to Composition. We are on week 19 in WWE 2. Is it too soon to make this transition now? Should we finish all of WWE 2 first? How would you compare WWE 2 or 3 to Introduction to Composition? EmseB Posted March 12, 2016 Share Posted March 12, 2016 We haven't done WWE3, but I'd say Intro to Comp is about the same as WWE2. Intro to Comp is: read a selection, answer 3 questions, then put the answers into narration form. There's also a short dictation to go with every lesson. My son had done WWE2 in 2nd grade and Intro to Comp was no problem for him this year. You would need to also buy the literature books that are referenced in Intro to Comp (Farmer Boy, Charlotte's Web, and The Moffats -- I think). For me, we switched to Intro to Comp because I was buying a full core with MP and wanted everything to "go together", but if I hadn't done that I would have stuck with WWE and transitioned to Fable after WWE3.
