Have done the first week, my 4 year old loves it so far but because he sees my older children using a notebook, he wants one as well. So I have tried to find a colouring page that covers the topic. I have the older edition and bought most of the books, they are lovely. The new edition has updated books because one of the publishers shut down and the books were getting harder to find. If it's moving too fast for your child, just slow it down where you see fit or just skip the bible verse memorisation for this year. We are going to completely jump in after Easter. We bought the actual curriculum when she had a sale and then downloaded all the free note booking pages. It took quite a bit to do this because I have 2 different levels but well worth the time. I don't know anything about the other program so can't advise on that one.
