Tax Question-Moving Expenses

We moved for work purposes in both 2014 and 2015.  Our moving expenses in 2014 were reimbursed by dh's new employer, and therefore not deducted.  The new job turned out to have an awful working environment, so when the opportunity arose in 2015, dh went back to his old job-and we had to pay back the reimbursement from the earlier move.  Is there a way we can now deduct the cost of the earlier move?

Did he work for the new employer for at least 39 weeks?  If not, moving expenses are not deductible per IRS pub 521.

Were the moving expense reimbursement included as income in 2014.  If not, paying them back would not be a deductible expense.

If yes to both of the above, I recommend studying pub 521 (I didn't find clear guidance on this situation upon a quick check) and then asking the IRS directly or a tax professional that you trust.
