Momto4inSoCal Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Getting started with spanish has been suggested here. Its an easy intro to spanish but it doesn't have a follow up book. I have a 4th and 5th grader and I've been going back and forth between espanol santanilla middle school version (made for public schools) and espanol para chicos y grandes. I think we are going with espanol para chicos y grandes due partly to cost. We wanted something that would teach them the language in 2-3 years not an intro. Most elementary programs are made to introduce the basics not really to teach them to speak fluently. There is also song school spanish for a gentle intro if thats what you are looking for.
