3girls4me
Hi ladies, Have any of you used the omnibus self-paced classes? I'm actually thinking about doing ancients myself to be better prepared when teaching ancients to my kiddos. And it just looks good :) I believe they are still having a sale and I also have a good bit of credit with them so it won't cost a lot. What are your thoughts about doing this? Thanks! Homeschoolmom3
Didn't work for us do to internet reasons. We even tried the library, it looked good but we ended up going the Romans Road Media w/Wes Callihan (don't have to worry about internet issues). :) And it was quite a bit cheaper. :)
3girls4me
Thanks! I just looked at it. It looks like it's $224 for just the DVD's. Am I missing something because that is a lot more than the omnibus course on sale right now.

The DVDs include lessons, pdf worksheets, answer key, lesson plans it is complete. Just need to purchase books reading within the course. Isnt omni $400, still cheaper I believe. 3girls4me
Bummer! Omnibus is $195 right now. Of course that's without books. I also have $50 credit so just $150. I may wait until the co-op has another sale because that actually looks like it might suit me better anyway! Thanks!
Homeschoolmom3
I know :( Omni books can get pricey particularly since you need the Omni book as well. For Romans Road Media, if HBC doesn't offer a discount again, you can purchase through amazon and at least get free shipping if you have amazon prime. Glad I could help good luck!
