purpleshamrock
Pros of having a physical set? How much do your kids use them? Why do you encourage it over Google? Also, if you have the 2013 set can you tell me the height of the volumes? Thanks Erin
Hunter
I have a 2006 set. I use them all the time. Google is just not always the most efficient and accurate way to access information. I don't know if I'm keeping my set, as I'm downsizing, but while I have them I do use them. I also have The New Book of Knowledge, the Columbia Encyclopedia, Southwestern and an old 1970's set of the Golden Encyclopedia.
Taz007
I have the 2013 set and they are exactly 10" in height.
BatmansWife
Next year, we will be doing BookShark 5 Reading with History and it uses the World Book Encyclopedia on CD-Rom. I am so not crazy about that. I would much, much rather have a set of encyclopedias to open and look through. But, I haven't been able to get a decent price on a set that isn't really old. :bored:
