klmama
Oldest dc is still applying for several scholarships, and I'd like some advice about how questions should be answered. Dc's responses on the college's general scholarship application were a bit terse. The needed info is all there, but it's very condensed; the essay questions weren't well-worded and didn't inspire dc to verbosity. That application information will be submitted again with the additional scholarship apps, but dc will have the opportunity to answer new questions specifically for those, as well. I think showing a bit more personality through writing style and sharing of extra details would be a plus. Do you agree?
Teachin'Mine
Yes, but it can be hard convincing the student who is writing the essays.
