Slipper
My daughter is 15 years old, non-verbal and severely affected by autism. I think she would enjoy a weighted blanket but she likes to roll up in her sheet/blanket and sleep with it over her face. She wakes up frequently in the night and goes back to sleep the same way so fixing it after she falls asleep isn't an option. Would she be at risk of suffocation? .Michelle.
Perhaps with the thicker blankets. The weighted blanket we purchased for our son (who sleeps like your daughter) is more like two sheets with the little pellets in between in sections. It also has a wide portion at the top without pellets and he'll sometimes just pull that part over his face at night. This is the one we purchased: https://www.etsy.com/listing/217696158/twin-custom-white-or-off-white-cotton?ref=related-0
Guest
Watching! That was something I was concerned with when considering weighted blankets, too.
