thundersweet
My dd will be using the concise edition of Joy Hakim's History of Us from k12 this year. What are your must read books for American history. Must be highly interesting as my dd doesn't care for history. I'm hoping with these books I can change that. She's already started volume A and she said it was good! She prefers it to Notgrass ATB, which she couldn't get through. I did look at BF, SL, and a couple other literature lists but I'm hoping to hear about your favorites! Thanks, Sandy
fourisenough
Witch of Blackbird Pond, Johnny Tremain, Island of the Blue Dolphins, Caddie Woodlawn, Across Five Aprils, Anne of Green Gables, & Adventures of Tom Sawyer would be among my top picks.
