SilverMoon Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 Cover Story from the One Year Adventure Novel author teaches the short story. They aimed it at grades 6-8, but the instruction is very good. If I recall correctly it's only a 24-26 week course, and a strong high school writer could compress it even more by covering 4-5 lessons a week instead of the scheduled 3x/week. I don't have actual user experience yet. I have read through the whole program and scheduled it out for fall though. My rising 9th and 10th graders will use it this year. They wanted One Year Adventure Novel, but their essay skills aren't where I want them before we devote an entire year to fiction writing.
