Penguin
Prufrock Press has a new release: Teach Like Socrates. I am intrigued. If anyone buys it before me, I would love to know what you think!

redsquirrel
They have it on Amazon as well. But I know some of you will be disappointing to see that on Amazon it has a big fat "Alligns with the Common Core Standards" sticker on the cover. I am sure Socrates is relieved he is aligned with the common core
raptor_dad
Lesson Plans... Discussion Games(?)...Common Core... This sounds like it is more focused on B&M schools than on general approaches for Socratic teaching. My past experience with books like this is that they aren't relevant to the way I homeschool. That said... I would love more useful books on Socratic teaching, cognitive apprenticeships, Vygotskian scaffolding, and such. So I'd love to hear a more detailed review ;)
