Jilly
Listening in...we are in OC and will need a place to take APs next year. I know Crean Lutheran in Irvine offers APs and is homeschooler friendly. You might want to contact them and see what they say.

Sebastian (a lady)
FWIW, I seemed to have had better luck with large public schools than with private or charter schools. In fact, the most aggravating phone conversation in my search for a school in San Diego was with a charter serving homeschoolers.

Hmm...if that is true University High in Irvine might be a better option. It is a larger, public school and I seem to remember a friend tell me a few years back that Uni allowed homeschoolers to take the APs. McLinda
Crea Lutheran in Irvine said no. They only serve their students. Orange Lutheran said no for the same reason. I am having better luck with local high schools. The trouble I am having is that they do not offer the AP Computer Science exam. It seems odd to me that a course like AP Comp Sci is a rarity in this day and age. I left numerous messages with other school's AP Coordinators...so, we'll see.
