brownie
I am wondering how it differs from the middle school grammar book? I own sentence composing for elementary so I am familiar with the curriculum. Thanks! Brownie
Chrysalis Academy
I have it, we will use it next year, we're doing Grammar for Middle School now. It begins with a chapter on the sentence-paragraph link, then it reviews all the tools for building better sententces. This section looks like the same kind of material in GfMS. The second half of the book is called "Building Better Paragraphs" and it applies the tools - expanding, imitating, unscrambling, and building - to paragraphs. This is a significant extension and new material. I think it looks great.
Crimson Wife
I've got my eye on it for my DS when he's ready. I think my oldest is probably beyond it at this stage. But it looks great!
WafflyToaster
Have you tried sketching out a plan for completing it in a year?
