Hunter
There are some free seasonal worksheets here for creating bucket lists. Winter, spring, summer, fall. http://www.3dinosaurs.com/printables/writing/bucketlist.php The holidays are a really hard time for me, and I mostly skip them, so am always looking for alternative ways to mark the passing of time, and recognize the specialness of the seasons. Sitting down four times a year to create a bucket list is a grounding activity for children and adults alike. I think I'm going to get a small notebook that I will use for years, so I can look back at previous years' lists. Nature study can be incorporated into bucket lists by creating a scavenger list. Cooking class could be covered by adding a few recipes to try. PE by adding a few skills/activities to learn. Literature. Bible portions to read/memorize. Music to listen to. Art to try, and also to decorate the lists.
