pre-testing on money, graphs, measurement, time

Recommended Posts

My eight-year-old just came out of p.s. after five months trying out the third grade while his father and I were in family court about which of us gets to homeschool him. (I do, huzzah!) Since he'll need to pass a standardized test at the end of the year in order to keep homeschooling, per the new custody order, I need to make sure he's on grade level in all the non-arithmetic topics, like money, time, graphs, geometry, measurement, algebra, etc. I don't know what he currently knows in those areas, since he's been in a Common Core school and Common Core focuses on arithmetic rather than taking the mile-wide approach that's been popular for ages.

So does anyone know of a quick test or evaluation I could give him to see where he is in those areas? Or a scope and sequence I could compare him to?
