We've had the machine 4.5 years and our warranty runs out in 6 months. We're happy that at least this problem fell during the warranty period. The guy said I've basically got a new machine. I hope it lasts more than 4 years though. We had a Kenmore before this and didn't have any problems with it and owned that definitely longer than 10 years. Thank goodness for extended warranties.
