Miss Marple
DS was informed today that he has been accepted to Baylor with a rather good merit scholarship. In fact, he is just one tier below the top merit scholarship. He is really interested in Baylor, but we will have 2 other boys in college as well. So, with 3 in college the finances will be just a bit strapped (understatement :) ) How do we ask about increasing his financial package? We've never been in this position before because the other boys opted for state schools and just picked up whatever merit scholarships were available. The state college doesn't recruit in the same way as some of the private colleges we've seen. Getting more aid will be necessary for him to attend. How do we go about informing Baylor of that? According to the letter, the next step is to submit $500 yada, yada. Anyway, we won't be submitting $500 until we know more. Any advice?
