kroe1 Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Orlando has a dance convention and/or competition every weekend. DD13 will be at Pulse the weekend before your convention. We have found that it is the locale that matters more than who is putting on the workshops. Most of the big convention hotels do not have a stage, or either have a very low, small platform. So the workshops are crammed with 50 million kiddos who cannot see the instructor. The Rosen is one of those. I would call Dance Masters and make sure they are setting up videos so that the kids in the back can see also. Otherwise, hope your DD does not mind fighting her way to the front row. Otherwise, these conventions are a waste of time, in my opinion. The nice thing about your locale is you will be close to Universal. This will give you something fun to do while DD is in class.
