alef
I discovered this website yesterday when I was looking for ways to help my daughter who is struggling with vibrato: http://www.violinlab.com/ I haven't explored very much yet but I liked the vibrato videos; this is a nice resource for me as I am teaching my daughter myself but while I have played violin since I was small I have never had teacher training, and I don't always remember how my teachers taught. It might even be possible to use the videos exclusively as lessons for a student who does not have access to a teacher. There are some free videos and others that are available through a paid subscription. Video lessons can never make up for in-person teaching, but I know that isn't a possibility for some people and these seem quite good. Some videos seem to go along with teaching the early Suzuki repertoire, but a lot of it could be used with any beginning book.
