Guest kbell804 Posted August 27, 2013 Share Posted August 27, 2013 Hi, My name is Kelly, and I am just starting with my oldest on our homeschooling journey (well officially that is). He is officially in kindy this year though he'll be 6 next week (September 1st cut off here in FL). We're keeping things pretty simple with the 3 r's and some science experiments for fun with another local family. We're using LLATL and it's a HUGE hit. It's working so well for him and me. He's in the red book. We are also using Horizon's math and are very pleased with that as well after Singapore just wasn't for his learning style or my teaching style. I also have 2 other boys ages 4.5 years old and almost 10 months old. I've browsed these boards a lot and am looking forward to gleaning from all the experienced momma's here.
