TkSJmom
We are starting first grade this year and plan to supplement SM with Miquon. I am curious about how people have accomplished this in the past. Do you use both programs everyday? Or do you complete three SM lessons a week and two Miquon lessons? Also, what are some great math games for a first grader who loves math?
Doodle
We did Singapore Monday through Thursday and Miquon of Friday. We did not do the Miquon pages in order, nor did I necessarily try to align them with the Singapore lessons. Initially I chose the Miquon pages we did on Fridays, but as we got to second and then third grade, Doodle chose them himself.
Julie of KY
I do both SM and Miquon. Some days we do both, but oftentimes we go in spurts of one book for several days/weeks and then the other. If one book is becoming difficult, I set it aside for awhile. I usually let me student pick which book for the day.
