Anyone want to suggest some physics lab ideas or resources?

Recommended Posts

My son has decided to take physics through FLVS next year. He's done some FLVS "lab" science classes previously, and I've always been disappointed in how minimal the hands-on aspect is. So, I know we'll want to supplement.

I don't want to overwhelm him or make the class not fun, since he's been looking forward to it for a couple of years. But I do want to be able to feel good about counting it for lab credit on his transcript.

I've seen a few basic kits online, but nothing I like yet.

I've found a few websites with things you can do at home, but it doesn't seem like enough.

Anyone want to point me toward some favorite books, sites, kits or other resources? I'd appreciate it!
