RSVP Anger

Actually, our kids were friends and we were taking our kids along. The kids were the most disappointed. Plus, we attended the *same church* and me and my kids were not invited on the group thing. I really was surprised because it seemed *SO* incredibly rude to me.

   How can anyone think that is ok?  ETA, it reminds me of a trend with the young group at our church...talking plainly about an event in front of someone (typically my dd) that is not invited.  What's up with that?

It's crazy how either you have groups that say they will come and don't, or don't say and then do.

I actually got a phone call today from one on the list, who actually had the grace to ask if it was still ok for them to come since they didn't rsvp in time.  It's nice to at least acknowledge.
