I believe it is an African folktale about a boy who travels from village to village and in each village he makes a trade. He trades up in each case and by the end of the book, I think he might have ended up with a piece of gold. Anyone know the title of this story? Also, sort of unrelated, I'm also looking for children's story books that tell of adopting a child from Africa. Thanks for your help.
