m0mmaBuck
So I had my follow-up ultrasound on my thyroid nodules (have been monitoring them since their discovery in 2002) but this time they actually sent a radiology report along with the ENT referral. It seems that the nodule on the right is no longer visible and the one on the left appears stable, "however, concerning features remain with presence of microcalcifications and hypervascularity." Does anyone know what that means in the big scheme of things? I'm assuming they will do another fine needle biopsy and the results will be "inconclusive" as they have been for the last 11 years and then they will "watch" by having me come back in another year or two for a rematch.
