LCC edition?

I would like to read Latin Centered Curriculum.

 

Which edition should I get 1st or 2nd? Can anyone make a recommendation or explain the differences?

I read the first ed. If I remember correctly, the history was revised in the second ed. I believe that the first has you doing 2 strands of history- US and world. I can't remember, although I know I read it here, how the second ed handles history.

I prefer the 1st edition. I so often prefer 1st editions. Authors often do their best work, before the peanut galleries convince them to water down their original vision. Later editions always seem to be suggesting more books from the same publisher, instead of from other publishers.

I have the second but after reading all the comments on the previous thread, I think the first will make it to my Kindle for my summer reading/planning:)

I like both, however if I could only buy one it would be the first edition. The second edition became more complicated and lost some of the "multum non multa" feel.
