Karenciavo Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 As the crow flies it's not far (less than 10 miles), but because AC is on a barrier island and everyone and their mother needs to take one of a limited number of roads to get there, it's probably not going to be pretty on Fri-Sun. We wanted to go to the Jersey shore last summer for 1 night, and used that method to find a hotel inland, but within 1/2 hour of the shore. Look on the map and find some smaller towns in the area and search them and see what you turn up. Priceline and Orbitz are also good to search with. Good luck! I love walking the boards in AC. It lists hotels in AC, and then available hotels in nearby towns (Absecon and Pleasantville). The prices are from 40 - 150. Hope this helps.
