jenL Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread. I've learned a great deal, and I find myself thinking about unschooling often. I'm curious, yet hesitant. Probably because I'm a "check the boxes" type-A person, and trusting that it will all turn out well is hard for me. I don't think I would be able to let go of the 3 R's since those are infinitely important (imho), but I am seriously considering what it would look like to unschool science, history, art, foreign language, etc. My youngest is in no way a self-starter, so that worries me.
