blondeviolin Posted April 4, 2013 Share Posted April 4, 2013 Hyrum's tubes were placed the end of October. This is the fourth time his right ear has leaked fluid and gunk. The last time we saw the ENT he gave him oral steroids, oral antibiotics, and we kept up the ear drops. His ears were good at the re-check. He mentioned we might have to replace the tubes if it keeps up. That was a month ago. So now he's leaking again, rubs his ear, and sometimes says, "ow." He had bit of a runny nose three weeks ago, but otherwise nothing else. Should we look at other issues here? Adenoids/tonsils? Food allergy? (He used to be allergic to milk as a baby, we've dropped it from his diet for the last two months without difference.) FWIW, my older 3 are all being treated for fairly asymptotic strep (only a rash). And I'm due on Monday. Bad timing! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
