There are three different ones in the series. Can you help me in figuring out which one I need. I am also getting the mechanical stage with it. I am using Apologia science for the high school courses.... HELP- Holly:confused:
Guest Katia
We use Apologia as well and just ordered the Home Microscope from Home Training Tools and received a free start-up kit as well. They have all the supplies for each experiment for Apologia, and all the microscope slides you need. Their service was unbelievably fast and courteous. We are very happy with the scope and the supplies. Oh, and it didn't cost us our first-born.:001_smile: http://www.hometrainingtools.com (I think is the web addy)

Basketmaker Amy
I have the one from Sonlight and I have been very pleased with it. It's high quality at an affordable price.
sfernb
We also used Home Training Tools and are happy. They were very helpful with selection. On a vaguely related note, we had way better luck with dissection specimens from Carolina Biological Supply.
kate in seattle
I haven't bought a microscope yet, but I thought the article at Sonlight was very helpful in discussing various things to take into consideration. I believe there is also an article at Tobin's Lab discussion microscope selection. Kate in Seattle
Cheryl B in VA
Sonlight takes the guess work out of the purchase by giving such a thorough description and they already selected the best microscope for a high school biology student.
