ProudGrandma
My children are working their way through Evan Moors daily geography and my daughter is finishing up the last one. The EM program did a lot with maps, but not a lot with other information lilke cultural things or specific infomation pertaining to a certain continent. So I was wondering if anybody knew of a book or program that is sort of self-directed that my daughter might enjoy going through. thanks. 74Heaven
We enjoyed Runkle Geography, which is physical geography. Mapwork, terrain, landforms, waterways, physical science tie-ins, etc etc. Not cultural. It was good for us because I mostly wanted the children to become aware of countries, borders, etc. Lisaj, mom to 5 (incl 2 grads)
ProudGrandma
that is basically what my kids are doing now. I am considering the 7 Continents program by Evan Moor....but it's $20 a Continent..so we will see.

It is at TeachersFileBox.com.... so that alone would pay for the $70 membership value wise! http://www.teacherfilebox.com/Unit/List.aspx?S=3737
