My husband and I very recently decided that we would homeschool him, and it has been liberating and overwhelming at the same time (that's common, right??). Anyway, I explored a few different avenues before finding The Well Trained Mind, and it just clicked, made sense immediately. In fact, a lot of the early education I have been naturally doing with my son anyway! We are really excited about the classical education! My husband was reading the book yesterday and tells me "You go to work, I want to do this!" (not actually happening, but I'm glad he is so enthused). I figured joining here would be a great opportunity to meet some like minded people and get advice from people who feel the same way we do about education!
