Momof3littles Posted March 10, 2013 Share Posted March 10, 2013 We used it once a week as part of a very small co-op class. There were just 4 kids using it. Each had their own book. They do not write in the books, so I think they could share if you really wanted them to, but I prefer having the kids each have their own books. I thought MoH was fantastic in our small group. The kids did great with identifying meter, alliteration, simile and metaphor, etc. We also used BL as part of our co-op, and that really worked well with MoH. In BL, the kids wrote the stem poems and similes, and they were pulling in things they had learned in MoH on their own, so that was great to see too.
