nukeswife
I'm still hunting for science options for next year for my oldest. He'll be in 9th. He won't take Algebra until then so I was directed to look at physical science and someone suggested that Kolbe could work. Even though they are a catholic company it appears the texts are all secular PS text books. I like the idea of a laid out schedule that tells me what to assign when. Anyone use this? How is it. This child is most likely not going to go into a science field if he goes to college at all. One other thing, can you use Kolbe without enrolling in their school. I don't need the transcript or grading etc.
Avila
I am doing this course next year. The texts are secular. You don't have to enroll. You can just buy the lesson plans and books. The texts are secular. Kolbe adds Catholic content occasionally in the lesson plans, but you could very easily skip that part. It is commentary more than anything else. Avila
I am doing it with a 9th grader. They offer it as IPC for high school, and we are taking that.
