Rosyl
My dh is working on his masters in Public Administration and needs a law dictionary for one of his classes. Anyone have a recommendation. Thanks
Candid
When my dh went to law school Blackstones (I think) was the standard. Just don't get sucked into buying a fancy one.

If it's the one I remember (and I'm so old John Marshall himself could have taught my classes), we used Black's Law Dictionary. And I completely agree about not needing a fancy edition; my plain, paperback copy was perfectly adequate. There's also an online version, I believe. I suspect you are right; I wasn't the lawyer, and I think maybe Blackstone is a magician.

Law texts often use "Blackstone" as a fictional property; if you were around while your husband was studying, that's probably why it stuck in your head. :)
