plmzk
Is anyone on here from Canada? Is there a curriculum out there for Canadian history? Any book lists? TIA. Kate
Dory
The Discovering Canada series is pretty good. Courage and Conquest is excellent as well. The Learning House actually has a pretty good list to order from.

hollyhock
There are a number of Canadian homeschoolers here. If you do a search for past threads about Canadian history, some should definitely come up. There have been some good ones. As for history courses, there are the Donna Ward ones at http://www.donnaward.net For our first time through with elementary kids, I just read though My First History of Canada by Donalda Dickie with my boys. It was really good. There are some narration questions and I think a few project ideas in the back. For logic stage ages, The Story of Canada by Janet Lunn seems to be a popular choice. As for book lists, this one has a ton of stuff: http://www.freewebs.com/canadianhomeschool/nicola's%20canadian%20history%20reading%20list.htm I have a few listed on my blog that we read when we did Cdn history last: http://www.sparklingbooklist.blogspot.ca I think there are more, but I can't remember off the top of my head. I'm sure you will get more replies, or find more through searching old threads.
