MomtoCandJ
Do you brown the beef first when making cabbage rolls? Oh and your easiest cabbage roll recipe. (I have one from southernfood.abouy.com)
Onceuponatime
No, I don't.. I mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, minced onion and cooked rice. I roll a heaping TBSP in each wilted cabbage leaves, spread with a can of tomato soup, and bake covered. You can sub thickened tomato sauce for the soup. Freckles
I do, but I'm lazy and make cabbage rolls without the roll. It's been passed down the generations that way. I brown it up with salt, pepper, greek seasoning. Tomato sauce (I'll admit I don't add the rice to watch the carb count, but everyone else I know does) and chopped cabbage. I hope you find a recipe that works for you.
