wehave8
I started out using FIAR with GTG for a world geography for 2 & 3 grade dss. It is not going as planned. We had a great start with a general overview of the world and Scotland went well, but I feel very unorganized and disjointed. We're following GTG more and only touched FIAR for some vocab. words. We have nice passports and a nice notebook started. I'd like to get more into a continent by continent map study and read a few good books. I want a more laid out plan. (I don't want MFW.) Has anyone done BF Geography? It looks like it is mostly or all about geography of US. Is this just the samples, or does it go around the world? Did anyone like/dislike it? Thanks Pam
hsmom2011
I have not used BF, but am using Trail Guide to World Geography with my 2nd and 6th graders. It's working out well - they both enjoy it.
Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
I am using this site http://homeschoolcreations.com/Geography.html (scroll down and click on a continent. She has 2 week plans for each country) And I use Children Just Like Me and GTG. Simple and fun.

Pam No, I decided not to use the timeline guide. I find the curriculum to be pretty complete without it.
