itsheresomewhere
I know several who have had it done. They have no regrets about it. Just don't wait until you start having issues with your bladder as the recovery I noticed the recovery takes longer.

Saraswati
No surgical procedures for me; however, I bought an inversion table from Teeter Hang Ups. I also have a posture pump that targets the neck area: http://www.posturepump.com/ I have (had) multiple herniated and bulging disks in my back, straight neck syndrome, sciatica pain, and myofascial pain syndrome - with migraine headaches, arm numbness, and poor posture as a result. I was unable to stand or walk for any length of time, and most days, I could not rotate my neck any farther than an inch to either side. Doing any activities that required me to hold my head at a downward angle (like using a sewing machine, or doing dishes), were completely impossible for me. I have no issues with any of those activities now. I use both of them twice a day for about 5 minutes each (as soon as I wake and just before bed), and it has completely eliminated my back and neck pain, as well as my migraine headaches.
