Night Elf
Long shot here. I'm miserable. My sinuses are dry and it's so very uncomfortable. I've been using saline spray and a humidifier. The problem is that I now live in my bedroom with the door closed in order to get the benefit of the humidifier. I called the Kaiser advice nurse and their suggestions were the two things I'm already doing. I'm blaming the heat in our house, but this has never happened before! I found one website that said to use a petroleum jelly on the nose while another site said not to do that because inhaling it can cause pneumonia and to try pure aloe vera. Any suggestions that are tried and true? Anything better than saline solution which doesn't really help? I don't want to spend the cold months holed up in my bedroom!
