Miss Marple
I saw your post below and have been considering what to do with my next son for economics. I'm intrigued with this book and, happily, already own the TTC Economics series. What age/grade was your son when he worked through this book? Did he read all 448 pages?!? Were you able to coordinate lectures from TTC with chapter topics? I would love to know more about how you implemented this (or how you would implement it in the future). :)
Quiver0f10
:lurk5: I found out my library has this book and so we are definitely going to be using it this fall. I never thought of trying to match up TTC lectures!
Gwen in VA
He didn't match it up -- he just read the book and listened to the lectures. I think the idea of trying to match up the two is a good one! After he did all that on his own, he did Econ through PAH (and loved the course.) Then he did Microecon at W&M -- he likes econ! ~Gwen
Basketmaker Amy
Did you require him to answer some/all/most of the questions at the back of the book or did you just discuss it with him? I've got the book and TTC DVDs ready to use...but have been waffling about how much to require for 1/2 credit. Thanks in advance for any advice!
