He got $100 from family overseas for Christmas and I'm thinking about getting him some kind of electronic toy that has games as well as educational stuff on it and need some suggestions...I want something that will last him & that he can use as he grows, but at the same time I don't want to have to spend $20+ per game to add new games to it... Um_2_4 Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 I would look at a tablet possibly..Nook color or a childs tablet. Those "fake PCs" (like vtech makes) are not impressive. I do have most of the leapster brand items, I love many of them, and usually pay much less per game than $20. I watch ebay for lots of the games and usually spend no more than $10 per game. I'm actually thinking about getting him a kindle fire... not sure yet, but it seems they have many great free apps for it... ?? Anybody have one for their kids??
