CLE vs. Rod and Staff for Grammar

Recommended Posts

CLE LA has teacher's guides as well as answer keys to go along with their lightunits. They also have laminated reference charts that help with memorization of grammar rules. It also includes spelling and penmanship - though it says it includes writing, you will need to supplement that.

Click on your grade "details" to see samples of the teacher's guide, answer key, and light units.

They also have grammar lu for English 1 & 2 for 9th grade. We are continuing on. We love CLE!

Dd12 will be using CLE next year. I have them and they look perfect. we tried R&S twice and it was horrible for her. It was very long and boring with alot of writing which she loathes. Just another opinion. I think both are solid programs and it is more of a personal preference.
