King's Kid
I'm wondering if it's bascially a stand-alone writing course or if it's to be used alongside another program which has writing assignments included, such as Total Language Plus. Any input is welcome! :)
Guest Katia
This is a stand-alone program but can be adapted to go with another program if another program needs more writing instruction. For example: we used Wordsmith Craftsman one year as a stand-alone program and it worked just fine. Next year, dd used Lightning Literature and Composition, but it didn't have composition instruction, just composition prompts. So, we used the prompts in the literature program but used Wordsmith Craftsman as the writing instruction since WC has all types of essays and writing included, with the exception of research report writing. So, if you need a stand-alone program, WC is great. If you have a program that needs writing instruction, you can use WC with that as well.
