mom31257
I am hosting a lab every other week to go along with Apologia Biology. We are starting Chapter 6 on the cell. I am curious if anyone has found any experiments that are a little more exciting than those in the book when the labs are just observe and draw types or any extra labs for chapters 8 (genetics) or 9 (evolution). I realize that it will get more exciting when we get to the dissecting, but that's not until after Christmas. Thanks for any suggestions! Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
Sorry, but I think the observing cells is pretty much it. I have not looked at chapter 6 yet, we are in 5, but maybe some saline solutions with cells. It will show how the cell membranes work. mom31257
Sorry, but I think the observing cells is pretty much it. I'm glad we're only meeting every other week because I think weekly would be even more boring. I can't wait for Chemistry next year because that will be fun! Marty
For Module 8, we did a Build-A-Spud workshop.
